At Coastal Trail Cycle Hire we deliver bikes to your door allowing you a hassle-free way to experience Cornwall’s countryside by bicycle and avoid the stress and aggravation of holiday traffic and congested beach parking
Based at Kittiwake Cottage, Wheal Rose in Scorrier, very close to the popular Coast to Coast cycle trail, our top quality bikes enable you to explore the rugged Cornish countryside, secluded beaches and great cycle trails Cornwall has to offer.
Our range of bikes include electric bikes, mountain bikes, hybrid bikes and children’s bikes. We even offer tandems for hire.
Coastal Trail Cycle Hire in Cornwall has an online booking facility or simply fill out the booking form on the contact us page. Please note that there might be an additional cost of delivery if you book the bikes online, otherwise send us an enquiry telling us where you wish your bikes delivered and we can quote you.
PLEASE NOTE BIKES GENERALLY NEED TO BE PRE-BOOKED AT LEAST 24hrs IN ADVANCE. WE DO NOT RECOMMNED TURNING UP AT OUR PREMISES WITHOUT A BOOKING AS WE MIGHT WELL BE OUT DELIVERING BIKES. WE WILL DO OUR BEST TO ACCOMMODATE LAST MINUTE BOOKINGS BUT PLEASE CALL US FIRST.

No matter where you are headed on your biking expedition, we can ensure that the bicycles are ready to go for your adventure. We deliver them direct to your door anywhere in Cornwall and will collect them.
Frequently Asked Questions
We invoice at the point of booking with an e-invoice and the full payment is required 7 days in advance of the booking. For larger bookings of over 6 bikes, we would require a deposit payment of 50% with the balance 7 days in advance of booking date. Payment can be made via online STRIPE payment platform.
Within the cost of the hire we provide the following: Pump, Lock, Puncture Repair Kit with multi-tool and a spare inner tube(s). Helmets are also provided automatically however you can provide your own helmet(s) if you prefer.
Under our Terms and Conditions we require that anyone renting one of our bike(s) wears a helmet. Each bike comes with a helmet however you might choose to wear your own.
The bikes come with a puncture repair kit & spare inner tube for you to make repairs yourself should you have a puncture. This comes as part of the hire cost. However, if you are unable to fix this yourself or are unsure about repairing a puncture yourself then we provide an additional cover which means we will come out and repair the puncture or replace the bike for you. If you don’t have this cover and call us to come out and repair the puncture, we will charge an additional sum based on our delivery service charges.
